PALO ALTO, California – June 24, 2021 – Bevy today announced that its community events software platform was selected by Trusted Health, the career platform for the modern nurse, to connect and engage thousands of Trusted nurses across the U.S.

Community has been a core tenet of the Trusted Health brand, and the company regularly holds live events for travel nurses in cities around the country. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic made in-person events impossible, the team at Trusted knew they had to find a new way to support their nurses, who were confronted with the stress and trauma that comes with being frontline caregivers during a public health crisis. In fact, according to a recent Trusted Health survey, nurses reported steep declines in their mental health as a result of the pandemic for the second year in a row.

To meet this need and support their nurses, in May 2020, Trusted Health took advantage of BevyCares, a Bevy4Good initiative that gives companies free access to tools to organize virtual or in-person events that can provide relief and care at a time when the world needs it most. After a successful year of hosting close to 60 virtual events using BevyCares, Trusted Health has now signed on as an enterprise customer of the Bevy platform to address the growth and evolving needs of its community.

BevyCares provided Trusted Health with the lifeline it needed early in the pandemic to get up and running quickly with virtual community events designed to support nurses across several areas of interest, from mental health support and the ins and outs of travel nursing, to career changes and lifestyle topics. The virtual events hosted by Trusted Health over the past year saw up to 250 nurses attending each event, and many more accessing recordings to accommodate their unpredictable schedules. As the world slowly emerges from the pandemic, Trusted Health is now well positioned to facilitate in-person, virtual, or hybrid events using the enterprise version of Bevy.

“Trusted has been a nurses-first organization since its inception, and the pandemic has offered us an opportunity to look for ways to support our nurses at a time when they really need it,” said Nicole Warshauer, Head of Community for Trusted Health. “Bevy has been critical in our efforts to bring nurses together and give them the resources they need to navigate the stress of the pandemic, connect with one another, and continue to manage their careers.”

Bevy is the only enterprise-grade virtual, hybrid, and in-person event community platform. The software platform was purpose-built to help organizations build, grow, and scale their global communities of customers, employees, and stakeholders. Using Bevy, Trusted Health community ambassadors are empowered to set up and host micro-community events. Automated communication, pre- and post-event surveys, and in-depth analytics are among the key features used by Trusted Health. Following the switch to the enterprise version of Bevy, Trusted Health now also has Salesforce integration, and a white-label platform that looks and feels like its own brand.

“Trusted Health has been providing incredible support and resources for nurses during the pandemic, and we are delighted that such a worthy organization has chosen Bevy to connect and engage its community,” says Derek Andersen, CEO and co-founder of Bevy. “With so few measures in place to support health care workers, Trusted Health has stepped up to ensure that those who continue to support the health and well-being of others have a community of their own to support one another. By using our platform as a virtual town hall where the nursing community can converge, they are making it easier for nurses to openly talk about the pressures of the pandemic with others who are going through the same challenges, at the same time as providing an outlet to discuss other topics that give nurses a welcome break from their daily stress.”
